The first assignment that students in this semester’s 8th grade digital art course completed was one where students used Photoshop Elements to make a contour drawing of the Mona Lisa and then fill the drawing with color, pattern, or gradients. Students practiced using different layers in Photoshop as well as using different brushes and fill tools.
