Laura Baressi DiPietro
Seventh Grade Social Studies is a medieval and early modern history class. We will learn about the history and geography of several great civilizations during the period of time between the fall of the Roman Empire and the voyages of Christopher Columbus. In this class students will examine ideological, economic, and technical developments among ancient cultures, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
I am originally from Midland, Texas, which is in the western part of the state. I attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and graduated in 1997 with degrees in History and Psychology. I have now lived in San Diego for 12 years and am positive that Southern California will be my home for the rest of my life. I spend virtually all of my time away from school toddler-wrangling, reading, and playing with my two dachshunds.
